Music and children have always been her passion as she continues to share music with her community.

Ilene Busey, known as Miss Ilene, has been teaching music, playing guitar, and singing in the Boca Raton area for 25 years. A music specialist at the Boca Raton JCC since 2002, she studied violin under Margaret Pardee of Juilliard and performed with the Long Island Youth Orchestra. She has also worked with the Steven Scott Orchestra, singing and playing violin under the direction of Sy Menchin.
